At times I can’t get any satisfaction, or if I do, it’s only for a short period of time. A good example is my level of satisfaction with my clothes alone! Over the years my style and outfits have changed so many times, I can’t even count them …
70’s, 80’s, 90’s style.
Palazzo pants, boot cut, skinny legs.
Capri pants, bell bottoms, tapered, and cropped.
Striped, floral, dotted, plaid.
Weaved, camouflaged, and plain.
Pastels, jewel tones, bright, white, neutral, Gothic.
The fun I had with my wardrobe didn’t expire as fast as the fashions went out of date, but it wasn’t far behind. And to be honest, the same goes for other areas of my life. From my favorite activity or food, to my home decor and furniture – once I am satisfied it usually doesn’t take long and I am craving something again …
I better find a more constant and sustaining source of joy, or I can’t get no lasting satisfaction everrrr! 🤪
