Another Trivia Night is scheduled for this coming Wednesday September 24 at 6pm in the clubhouse.
For those of you that don’t know how the trivia night works here’s a brief explanation. It’s not like Jeopardy where you are on your own to come up with answers, it’s more like Family Feud. We break up into groups of at least 4 people per group. Everyone in the group has input to answer the questions. You’re not alone, so if you stayed away because you didn’t think you would know enough answers you’ll find out that nobody knows enough answers. There are 6 different topics with either 6 or 7 different questions per topic. I have been to every session and many times I haven’t had a clue what the answers were to many of the topics, but at least 1 person in my group did know. And that’s been the case with every session and every group. At the end of the evening the point totals of all groups in all sessions has been very close. A big reason for that result consistently is because Jenna is very astute at making sure the Trivia questions are NOT trivial (trivial pursuit was just that, trivial).
I hope this explanation will entice at least one more person to give it a try. I went to the first one thinking that I wouldn’t be able to contribute at all. I was surprised when I did and have been attending every session since then knowing that I had a chance to contribute. So c’mon give it a try….
